Stillness

“Stillness” was born in moments when stillness was hardest to find: in the midst of our young families, busy lives and growing energy healing practice.

As practitioners, we routinely prepare our own energy before working with others. It is an important part of our personal practices as well as our professional work, supporting the attention and quality of care we bring to our clients. But there were times when we wanted something more accessible and immediate.

​

Drawing on the knowledge and guidance of our teachers, we began developing a specific blend as a simple, quick way to support and maintain our energy, alongside the more foundational practices through which we care for our energetic wellbeing. We experimented with various essential oils, selecting them for the qualities we wanted to bring together. We source our oils from a Leaping Bunny Certified cruelty-free supplier, who has them independently tested for purity and authenticity, and infuse the blend with prana using energy healing techniques.

Then we refined the blend into a mist, diluted to safe concentrations, and began using it extensively ourselves. Because we reached for it so often, testing how we responded to it when things were hectic or heated, we deliberately kept the aroma profile subtle and unobtrusive, so it would not overwhelm the senses. Though naturally aromatic, Stillness was never designed to be a perfume.

Beyond our own practice

We also began to see the mist’s value beyond personal use.

​

We started offering it to some of our clients, particularly as they completed their sessions with us and moved towards more independent self-care. We wanted to give them something simple that they could continue using themselves, something we already knew well from our own lives and from using with our families, especially during busy or stressful periods. It has since become one of the practical tools we recommend alongside other practices, offering something immediate and easy while the deeper work continues where needed.

In our own use, we have found that using Stillness before meditation can help us have deeper meditative experiences, while using it before rest can help us unwind. Over time, you may discover when the mist feels especially useful to you, whether before an important interaction, during a demanding day, or simply when tending to your own energy or that of a space. Prepared with care 

We are equally careful about how each bottle is prepared and stored. Every batch is energetically prepared by us, the founders, using techniques drawn from our energetic practice, and each sealed carton is placed by us personally in a silk pouch. The silk pouch is intended to create a physical and energetic barrier and help preserve the mist's energy over time. We recommend you store your bottle inside it.
