The concept of the energy body dates back to ancient texts from the Indian subcontinent called the Vedas. In Vedic philosophy, the body is understood in a layered, holistic sense, comprising multiple levels: the physical body, the energy body, the emotional body, the mental body, and more, with each affecting the other. However, our understanding of the world (and ourselves) is limited by what our sense organs—our eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin—can detect. More specifically, it's limited to the range of frequencies these organs can register. Anything beyond these frequencies—like the subtle bodies—remains unperceived.
